Indo German Exchange Programme At Bhatnagar International School Vasant Kunj
Bhatnagar International School, Vasant Kunj organised the Indian German Classroom Exchange programme on 18th November, 2015 in its premier grounds. School Principal Ms. Shilpa Bhatnagar warmly welcomed the visiting faculty and student's delegation comprising of eight German students from Maxmilian Kolbe Gymnasium Cologne, Germany. The inter cultural and inter school exchange programme constitutes an integral part of the school curriculum. It aims at preparing students for successfully operating in a ?Global? society, and in making "internationalism" an essential component of daily life. Two week long visitation to India has been a "prolific experience" in words of the German students who are residing with the school students. They have fundamentally broadened their awareness about our country and enhanced their appreciation of varied aspects of the nation. This year-long inter-societal exchange project initiated with the teachers of Bhatnagar International School who visited the partner school in Germany early this year. The German faculty returned the visit. The school felicitated the invited dignitary Ms. Shelley Kwatra, Project coordinator, Educational services, PASCH, Goethe Institute, Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi. The visiting faculty Ms. Seija Koecher and Ms. Nicole Krautwurst were presented with mementoes. The grand cultural programme presented an entertaining and enthralling dance and melodious sequence which enthralled the audience and the attendees. Invocation to Lord Ganesh, Beats of India, the German song by school choir and medley of Indian music truly reflected the cultural diversities of our country. The visiting dignitaries applauded the cultural camaraderie and harmony experienced through such pilot project of the school. The theme of the project is "Stress Management in Students" wherein interchange of ideas, methodology and doctrines adopted and followed in respective schools is of immense value and use. It includes meditation, yoga, nutrition and dietary habits for the student's holistic development and psychological equilibrium. The entire project aims to foster deeper understanding and appreciation of cultural diversities.

This is to inform you that the school will be switching over to winter timings w.e.f. 1st December 2015 to 28th February 2016. The school timings will be 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The timings of the school buses will be adjusted and announced.
Arrangement for Private Vans and Taxis should be made accordingly.
