 Mobile App Upgradation
This is to inform you that the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) cards issued to all students will be activated with upgraded features soon. This will further enhance the security system for all our students.
On wearing the RFID card, there will be an automatic recognition of the child and SMS alerts will reach the parents when the student reaches and leaves the school premises.
In addition to same, an improvised & updated mobile app linked to the website is being introduced with the following facilities:

Title : CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS

1. Students are representatives of the school. They are expected to set a high standard of behaviour both inside and outside the school premises.
2. Students will not use foul or offensive language.
3. Students will not deface or damage school property. Any damage to school property should be reported immediately.
4. Bullying, aggression or violence in any form is gross misconduct for which the school will take strict disciplinary action if required.
5. Students should be in their proper uniform. Proper length of skirts and shorts must be adhered to. 
6. Students are not permitted to carry mobile phones on the school premises. In case a student has to carry a phone for extraneous reasons, arrangements will be made to deposit the phone at the school office during school hours.
7. Students will not indulge in inappropriate use of the school computers or networks.
8. The following are strictly forbidden in campus and buses: scissors, paper cutter, sharp objects and metallic ruler.
9. Students are not permitted to bring valuable electronic devices (ipods, cameras, tablets etc) without prior permission.
10. Strict action will be taken if it comes to the notice of the school authorities that any student is involved in possession and circulation of inappropriate digital content on mobile devices.
11. Pupils shall always greet teachers, elders and friends in a pleasant tone whenever they meet them outside or inside the school. Our students should have polite manners wherever they go. They should avoid vulgarity in talk and behaviour.
12. Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences. No undue shouting or whistling is allowed in or around the school building. Running in corridors and staircases to be avoided for safety purposes. It is strictly forbidden to cause any physical or mental damage to each other. 
13. They should always be ready to lend a helping hand at home to their parents, brothers and sisters; in school to teachers.
14. Students should communicate in English in the school campus and while on the bus.`
15. Strict discipline must be maintained in the school bus. Misbehaviour on the bus can lead to disciplinary action.
16. Students must remain seated in the bus till the arrival of their stop.
17. Students should not change the boarding or dropping off stop without prior information being given to the school office in the form of an application duly signed by the parent.


Kindly adhere to the above mentioned rules strictly for the smooth functioning of the school.

Title : Security Guidelines

Security Guidelines

Security & Safety of the students has always been a prime prerogative of our school.
Points which the school has been adhering to for safety and security of school students.

  1. 1. Entry gate is properly manned by security guards (verified by security agencies).
  2. 2. Entry gate has a proper visiting register with proper columns like Sr. No., Name, Address, Time of visit, Mobile number, Signatures etc.
  3. 3. Entry is made for visitors/ parents only after confirming with front desk through intercom.
  4. 4. Prior appointment is encouraged for smooth functioning of the school.
  5. 5. Each floor is manned by two security guards.
  6. 6. CCTV cameras are installed at stringent and strategic points covering all areas of the school building .Entry and exit points, playground, Canteen Area, all corridors, labs ,library, staffrooms, reception are regularly monitored through the cameras.
  7. 7. All CCTV's are functional and operational.
  8. 8. There are separate washrooms for girls and boys on each floor with a CCTV camera outside the washroom.Maids are at all times available to accompany  children of primary classes to the washroom.
  9. 9. There are separate washrooms for male staff members. Drivers and conductors do not have access to washrooms meant for students or any other area inside the school premises.
  10. 10. All class IV employees wear ID cards for identification.
  11. 11. Specific duties are assigned to the teachers before and during the morning assembly, recess and at the time of school dispersal.
  12. 12. Teachers always accompany the class even when students go for various activities.
  13. 13. Attendance in  each period is taken and mentioned in monitors diary each day.
  14. 14. All the recruited 'helping/ assisting' staff members are taken from verified and long - standing authenticated agencies. Their antecedents are carefully scrutinized by the school.
  15. 15. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) cards have been issued to students and are mandatory to carry for safety of your child.
  16. 16. It may be noted that Parent cards have been issued to Primary classes and same should be carried to school by parents during pick up and drop off.Kindly adhere strictly.
  17. 17. Class Coordinators and class teachers remain vigilant and cater to student's needs constantly.
  18. 18. The School Team is highly sensitive to students needs, safety and security.

BIS Student makes it to India Book of Records 2017.

Pragya Bhutoria, student class XII of Bhatnagar International School, Vasant Kunj earned the honour of entering into India Book of Records 2017 for her colossal collection of more than 700 price tags of Indian and International brands of clothing. Amidst a roaring applause at a glittering function held at the Head Office of India Book of Records, Faridabad, Pragya was felicitated with a medal, a shield, a certificate of merit along with a badge of honour for her outstanding achievement.

Title : The Literacy Project

Bhatnagar International School, Vasant Kunj felicitated for making maximum number of learners

The Literacy Project is one of the premier projects of Bhatnagar International School under which the students teach the unlettered slum dwellers.

The School receives great impetus to work persistently towards this pioneer project under constant motivation of the School Principal Mrs. ShilpaBhatnagar. She encourages all the students to serve the society selflessly and to lend a helping hand to the less fortunate brethren of the country.

The Annual Award Giving Ceremony of Delhi Schools' Literacy Project was held on 28 April 2017 at Springdales School, DhaulaKuan, New Delhi.

The Chief Guest of the function Mr. Ajay Tirkey (IAS), Director General (NLM)and JS, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, gave away the awards to the proud recipients. The Street Play "MeraHaqMujhe Do" presented by our school students was highly appreciated and applauded by the audience.

The school won the SufiaAjmali Memorial Trophy for teaching 4011 learners, the highest amongst all the 52 participating schools of Delhi for the fifth consecutive year.

PragyaBhutoria and SomyaMirg of class XI and VII respectively received Siri Ram Jolly Memorial Scholarship of Rs.1000/- each for making 111 and 30 learners literate. Pragya also won M. L.Kapoor Memorial Trophy for making the second highest unlettered literate.

Garv Prabhakar of Class VII received the Raj Mohan Kapur Scholarship of Rs. 1000/- for making 47 learners literate.

The school was highly appreciated for its dedication and zeal for taking the sublime literacy mission forward fruitfully and efficiently.
